The The Effect of The Covid-19 Pandemic on Recruitment of Health Workers in Private Hospitals: A Literature Review

Background: The number of hospitals is increasing every year, dominated by private hospitals, so effective HRM is needed for organizational performance. HRM practices require a long process, especially in the recruitment process which consists of a series of activities to identify desired applicants. However, the emergence of Covid-19 was not predicted and requires adaptation.
Objectives: this article aims to determine the effect of Covid-19 on the recruitment of health workers in private hospitals.
Research Metodes: literature review of 7 articles searched via ScienceDirect and Google Scholar
Results: From 7 articles, it shows that the Covid-19 pandemic has affected recruitment, namely that recruitment is only a formality and makes health workers in hospitals large in quantity, but varied in quality.
Conclusion: The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on recruitment so that recruitment is carried out by utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, using video conference platforms, replacing written tests with project or online presentations, adjusting schedules flexibly, and maintaining communication.
