DIPLOMASI PUBLIK OKI DAN ISLAMOFOBIA DI INDIA: SOFT POWER ISLAM PADA ERA PEMERINTAHAN MODI

Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi diplomasi publik Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) dalam merespons Islamofobia di India pada era pemerintahan Perdana Menteri Narendra Modi, melalui lensa soft power Islam dan nilai-nilai da'wah profetik berupa ḥikmah (kebijaksanaan), ṣabr (kesabaran), dan muḥāwarah (dialog). Dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) berpedoman PRISMA, dianalisis 35 sumber akademis relevan yang terbit pada periode 2014-2024. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa strategi OKI termanifestasi dalam tiga tema utama: representasi citra Islam di forum internasional, diplomasi budaya dan lintas agama berbasis nilai etika, serta respons kelembagaan formal terhadap kebijakan diskriminatif. Disimpulkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai profetik ke dalam kerangka soft power menawarkan alternatif pendekatan diplomasi yang lebih persuasif dan etis dibandingkan diplomasi koersif, sekaligus memperkuat peran OKI sebagai suara moral. Lebih jauh, pendekatan ini memiliki implikasi strategis bagi diplomasi multilateral dengan menawarkan model engagement berbasis nilai untuk menangani isu intoleransi dan diskriminasi agama global, sehingga meningkatkan relevansi diplomasi Islam dalam tata kelola global kontemporer.References
